We began the process by running a photo of Luciano though Midjourney using various prompting techniques to drive the ai software tool to give us a cartoon representation of said photo so we could In turn promote a Hackathon that he wanted to communicate company wide to. We also used the ai software to generate an environment that we could place his avatar in that would also lend to the communication he was delivering.

We used a one minute audio recording of Luciano from a previous project in order for Eleven Labs to learn the inflections and pronunciations in Lucianos voice. After-which we used a prompt scripted from our internal communications team to drive the voice cloner and give us a .mp3 file to then drive the D-iD ai animation.

We imported the .mp3 audio file from Eleven Labs into D-id to drive the head and mouth animations movements in accordance to the speech. Giving our EVP of CTIO some life without having to learn/understand how to use a 3D software or have to setup a full day to record video/ audio for a simple message to be sent out.

We then imported the D_iD export into After Effects and rotoscoped out Luciano's avatar from the background and imported a computer room that was also generated using Midjourney. We put that same background through a software that gave us an HDR light to tie the avatar into the environment more cohesively. We were then able to mask out and put elements into the scene to give it more life, such as movement on the computer screens, dust particles, lights etc.
